Happy New Year from WineMad

New Years Eve was a quiet night at Chez WineMad. Opened a bottle of Roederer Estates Anderson Valley Brut that was hanging around the basement fridge, drank a toast with the family then viewed Ratatouille via pay per view.

I concur with the comments found via the WineMad search:

not too sweet, citrus notes, a good value in American bubbly. I don’t recall the price but I’m thinking it was around 20 bucks.

Ratatouille was thoroughly enjoyable, as well. I’m currently reading Kitchen Confidential (recommended, too) and what little I know about commercial kitchens rang true in the movie.
